How do I become employed with waterlily car service? 

You can email your resume or request a job application in an email.

Are you currently hiring?

We are always hiring and always on the pursue of great drivers who are dedicated to us and our customers.

I am currently driving for a base and I am a resident of the state of New York, how do I drive for your base?

Go to the Taxi and Limousine Commission website and print a for hire vehicle transfer application and email that application to us, we will add our base number to the for hire vehicle transfer application and email it to you to complete section one, then you can email it to the email address provide to you by TLC and pay $25.00 to TLC to complete the base transfer. Once the base transfer is complete, email us and we will send you a job application.

I would like to drive for you and I live outside of the state of New York?

You can upload your resume and required documents on our app and we will reach out to you. You can drive taxi for us from the state you currently live in and for the customers in your area.

How do we get trips?

You can use our Waterlily Car Service app for local trips and state by state trips.

What is the starting salary for any drivers? 

The salary is base on the performance of all drivers.

How do we get paid?

You are paid biweekly via a check.

Do you have medical insurance?

We do not offer medical insurance.

Do you offer retirement?

We do not offer retirement currently but we may in the future for all dedicated drivers.

How do I clock in for work?

All drivers will clock in using their phone at the start of their shift.

Will I travel to the base to start a shift?

All drivers will start their shift from any location.

Who is responsible for the maintenance of the drivers vehicle?

All drivers have to do a pre and post trip of their vehicle and ensure it is safe to drive in.

Who is responsible for our fuel?

All drivers are responsible for their fuel and must ensure they have fuel at the start of their work day.

Is the driver required to call the customers to inform them that they are on their way?

Yes.

Where is Waterlily Car Service located?

In the state of New York.

Am I required to wear a uniform?

Yes, one will be provided to you.

If a customer does not pay after a trip what should I do?

You can file a police report and email that report to the human resources headquarters in New York.

We pays for Medicaid customers medical trips?

These trips are already paid for by the state, please do not ask the customer for any money.

Will drivers receive calls from a dispatcher?

Yes, trips will be dispatched as well as the drivers are required to check the waterlilycarservice app for trips and waterlily car service Medicaid transportation app (coming soon) for trips. 

How soon after submitting all the required documents for employment will I hear about a job I applied for?

As soon as the hiring process ends you should receive an email with your start date, clockin information, and your shift.

How often should I review the app for trips?

All the time.

How do I get my fingerprint done?

Contact indentogo/IDEMIA online and make an appointment.

Do I need to send a photo of my vehicle?

Yes. You may take 7 photos of the outside and inside of your vehicle and email it to human resources. Two photos of the  left and right side of the outside of your vehicle. One of the front and one of the back of your vehicle. Three photos of the interior of the vehicle, the back and front interior and dashboard.

Where do I get direct deposit form for salary deposit?

One will be emailed to you with your employment application or you can contact human resources by email: humanresources@waterlilycarservice.com.

What are the required documents to qualify for employment as a driver?

TLC driver's license, New York State driver's license, employment application, indentogo fingerprints, registration card, TLC insurance, and social security card.

Is there a base fee?

Yes.

Do you have a farebook?

Yes.

Is there a meter fee?

Yes, if you can use a meter in your state, then you will be able to rent a meter at a fair weekly rate.

Is there a car rental fee?

Yes. If you do not have a vehicle you can rent a vehicle to drive in the state of New York only. There is a monthly rental fee.

Who pays the car insurance on a car rental?

The driver.

Are you a black car?

Yes.

Can I use my wheelchair vehicle?

Yes.

Who pays for the tickets received by the driver?

The driver.

How will the base fee, rental fee and meter fee be deducted?

All fees are deducted from the drivers' salary.

Who pays for tolls?

Driver.

Will I be an Independent Contractor?

Yes.

Do you withdraw tax from my salary?

No. The driver is required to pay tax annually.

Is there an estimate of what a driver could earn on a weekly basis?

Most drivers may earn between $1200 to $2000 per week.

Should driver give a correct ETA?

Yes, all drivers should always give a correct estimated time of arrival.

How do I get the Waterlily Car Service App?

The app will be on the website. Copy and paste the app address in the search box on the internet, cellphone, or tablet.

Who do I call to prearrange weekly trips to work?

You can call the dispatcher and you will receive a quote for a weekly rate.

Who do I call for prearrange airplane or train station weekly pick up?

You can call the dispatcher and you will receive a quote for a weekly rate.

Who do I call if I lose something in the taxi?

You can call the driver to return your property at no cost.

Can I book a trip online?

Yes. You can use Waterlily Car Service app.

Where is Waterlily Car Service headquarters located?

In the state of New York.

Is your taxi service available nationwide?

Yes.

Who do I call to complain?

You can call the New York headquarters for Waterlily Car Service.

How do we pay for our trip in the State of New York?

We take cash in the State of New York or any payment arrangement, including credit cards, paypal, zelle, cash app etc.

I live outside of New York can I book a trip in my state?

Yes.

How do I pay for my fare outside of the state of New York?

We only accept credit card payments after you book a trip online with the use of an app, for all passengers that is not in the state of New York.

What happens if the driver does not show up when I book online?

You can call us to arrange a driver to pick you up at any location.

What if I want a refund?

You can call us and we will return the money that was removed from your credit card.

Can a customer pay for a yearly taxi service to work?

Yes. If the customer leave their job or is unable to work for a day or more and did not use the taxi service, we will refund the money for those days. Call for a quote for the year.

Can a customer pay for a yearly taxi service to and from the train station?

Yes. If the customer does not use the taxi to and from the train station, we will refund the money for those days. Call for a quote for the year. 

How do I book a trip outside the state of New York for a local taxi driver?

You can book online only.

Do family pay different fares within the same trip?

No. There is one fare for all customers that can be seated in that vehicle and if the family is a larger number of people then two vehicles is required and then there will be two fares for the use of both vehicles.

What is rideshare?

Rideshare is the sharing of a trip by a group of different customers, where each customer pay their own fare.
